Police are investigating an incident at a Lancashire McDonald’s, where was a teenager was reportedly threatened with a weapon.
Police were called to a McDonald’s restaurant on Churchill Way, in Leyland, on Monday (March 27).
A teenage boy was reportedly chased into the McDonald’s and threatened with a weapon.
Police spoke to the group who later dispersed. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
Officers say they are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to get in touch.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called around 6.50pm on Monday, March 27, to a report of suspicious circumstances at McDonalds in Churchill Way, Leyland.
“It was reported a teenage boy had been chased into the restaurant and threatened with a weapon.
“Officers attended the scene with the group spoken to and dispersed. No injuries were reported and no arrests made.
“An investigation is underway and enquiries ongoing.”
