Food hygiene inspectors have rated three Burnley eateries in the latest round of inspections.

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries a four out of five food hygiene rating.

Air Unlimited, at Unit 3, Craven Street, Burnley, Lancashire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 21.

The eatery’s inspection report states both the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.

Burger King, at Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire was also given a score of four on February 21.

The inspection report states both the management of food safety and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory.

Finally, Rajas, a take-away at 114 Colne Road, Burnley, Lancashire was given a score of four after assessment on February 24, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

The eatery’s inspection report states the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is very good whilst both the hygienic food handling and management of food safety are generally satisfactory.

It means that of Burnley's 132 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 88 (67 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
