Two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a derelict building fire in Preston last night (March 21).
Crews were called at around 7.35pm to the building on Southgate and attended with two engines and an aerial ladder platform from Preston.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and one jet to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston attended a derelict building fire on Southgate, Preston.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera, and lighting to extinguish the fire.
"Crews remain in attendance."
