Less than half of people taking their driving test, and the least amount of people in the county, pass their driving test in Blackburn with Darwen.
Recent data, from the DVSA, shows that between April and September 2022, just 46 per cent, or 1505 of the 3275 people who took their test passed.
Of those who were successful, 49.3 per cent of the 1584 who took their test men passed –a total of 781 men getting their full licence.
More women tried their luck however, with 1691 taking their test in the six month period, with 724 of them being successful – a pass rate of 42.8 per cent.
The area with the highest pass rate in Lancashire is Preston where 61.1 per cent of people passed their test.
Elsewhere in East Lancashire, 55.9 per cent of people who sat their test in Nelson passed.
In Chorley, the pass rate was 58.2 per cent, in Heysham it was 56.3 per cent and in Blackpool, 47.4 per cent.
The best place in England to pass your driving test was Alnwick, Northumberland, where 74.3 per cent of drivers passed.
The worst place was Speke in Liverpool where just 27.4 per cent of drivers passed.
