For Looking Back readers of a certain age, this photo from the archives is guaranteed to bring the memories flooding back.
It shows the main dancefloor at Peppermint Place, in Blackburn in 1984. The club, formerly the Cav, was the ultimate weekend destination for partygoers. Queues would form at the bottom of the steps in Lord Square, part of the town's shopping centre, as revellers would wait to get into the nightclub which was on top of the shops.
It was a place where hundreds of couples first met over the years and we know that so many readers have fond memories of their nights out in Blackburn during this period.
