Food hygiene inspectors have rated four Burnley eateries in the latest round of inspections.

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries a five out five food hygiene rating and one eatery a four out of five rating.

The Ark at Northbridge at Northbridge House, Elm Street Business Park, Elm Street, Burnley was rated a five after inspection on March 16.

The Fat Giraffe at 3 Church Street, Padiham, Lancashire was also rated a five on March 15.

The inspection reports for both eateries state they were both rated good in all areas.

Hidden Burnley at 1 Cow Lane, Burnley, Lancashire was also rated a five after inspection on March 3.

The inspection report states both the management of food safety, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building were both very good whilst the hygienic food handling is good.

Finally, Dolce Vita at 327 Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire, was rated a four on February 17.

Both the eatery's hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.
