An American football team based in East Lancs is looking for new players ahead of the new season.
Pennine Panthers, who changed their name from Burnley Tornados in 2019 and are based at Holt House in Colne, are an 11-a-side full-contact team who currently have their eyes set on associate football in the hope to play divisionally under the British American Football Association.
They are looking to recruit players aged 18 plus with any level of experience or fitness.
The team does not currently compete in a league having moved from eight-a-side to 11-a-side, but do play friendlies against other local teams.
They are in the process of applying for the 'associate league', a season trial playing games across the country before joining the full league.
Training takes place at Holt House every Sunday from 10am to 1pm, and the club trains at Burnley College during the winter.
Interested people should contact the club on Facebook (Pennine Panthers American Football), on Instagram (@penninepanthersafc) or via email at penninepanthersaf@gmail.com.
Anyone under 18 or anyone who has an interest in playing flag football is encouraged to contact partner club Burnley Tornados youth and flag teams.
