A teenager has been found dead at a house in Blackburn.
Police said they were called to Sunny Bank Road on Saturday over concerns about a teenage girl.
Despite the best efforts of emergency teams the teenager was later pronounced dead at hospital.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called to Sunny Bank Road, Blackburn, at 9.24am on March 4 to reports a teenage girl was unresponsive.
“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, she was sadly pronounced deceased at hospital.
“Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed on to HM Coroner in due course.
“Our thoughts are with the teenager’s loved ones at this distressing time.”
