An all-new American Wrestling event is coming to Accrington this month and it is already proving to be a success as more than half the tickets are sold.
Coming to Accrington Town Hall, Top Rope Wrestling Academy in Burnley are excited to present American Wrestling Aftermath; a fun filled night for all the family with lots of crowd interaction, cheering for the good guys and booing the bad guys.
On Saturday March 18, the town hall will welcome a range of talent featuring locals trained at Top Rope Wrestling Academy, including some wrestlers from Accrington itself.
These include Scottish wrestling stars who featured on the WWE Network such as BT Gunn and Kasey Owens, and WWE NXT UK’s Angel Hayze.
Meet and greet opportunities with a range of wrestlers are open to all attendees and will also take place at the end of the evening.
Hayche Haidry, owner of Top Rope Wrestling Academy said: “We are very excited to not only be expanding but to be bringing something new to the area which has already been well received by the people of Accrington.
“Saturday March 18 marks our first show in Accrington and the first wrestling show in the area for a number of years, something that the town needs and is looking forward to.

“Many who come to our events for the first time who aren’t necessarily wrestling fans are generally surprised at how much fun they have and it’s a lot different to what they expected.
“A lot compare it to an evening at the theatre, pantomime and circus events nothing too serious but also plenty of wrestling action.
“Everyone goes home smiling.
“We have sold approximately 50 per cent capacity so far, with super limited front row tickets remaining.
“Come down for a fun night and to support local and future stars.”
Foam fingers and masks are available to buy at the show and banners are encouraged.
Front row seats are priced at just £15 and discounted family tickets are also available, but people are being warned to buy tickets soon, so they don’t miss out.
