A Chinese takeaway owner has sent some hilarious and witty responses to reviews from customers which have lifted people's spirits.
The owner of May Flower Takeaway in Markham Road, Blackburn, has left some rather hilarious responses to reviews on their Google Review page.
The light hearted responses include promising one loyal customer extra helpings on their next visit, and tongue in cheek comments about 'extra large sausages'.
A man called John said it was one of ‘the best Chinese in Blackburn’ and has the ‘best salt and pepper Chips in Blackburn’ with the owner replying: “Nice one John! You're one of the best John's in Blackburn.”
Another reviewer said they ‘would not go anywhere else’ with the owner replying: “We'll find out if you cheat on us! (Chinese whispers and all that..)”
One reviewer said that they ‘had not found a Chinese as good’ anywhere in the UK, with the owner replying: "It's always good to have you back. We'll chuck you a few more chips next time.”
One woman commented ‘top class as always’, sparking a response of: "We always get the extra large sausages for you."
One person noted the takeaway serves a ‘special curry to die for’, with the owner replying:"Cheers Ian! *no humans were harmed during the preparation of our food (except for Me, he cut his finger once)."
A reviewer called Christine Sutton left a five-star review, sparking a response from the owner of ‘thank you for the 5 stars! Make sure you bring Shearer with you next time.’
Another response paid tribute to The Office US character Michael Scott's iconic catchphrase. A customer said 'very good filling every time', prompting the reply: "That's what she said! Ha! Cheers!"
May Flower Takeaway has an overall rating of 4.6 stars on Google and a food hygiene rating of 5.
