One of the best things about the weekend - whatever the weather - is enjoying a lazy brunch.
And in Burnley, residents really are spoilt for choice.
We had a look on TripAdvisor for the Burnley eateries which are said to have some of the best brunch options.
Bistro 197
Bistro 197 at 197 Todmorden Road, Burnley, serves up light bites including warm and cold sandwiches, plenty of breakfast options or main menu dishes if customers are feeling peckish.
Open all week apart from Monday's, Bistro 197 is rated four- and-a-half-out-of-five on Tripadvisor and received the Travellers' Choice Award in 2022.
Bellissimo Italian Coffee Shop and Bistro
Bellissimo at 3 Parker Lane, Burnley, is also a great spot for brunch.
The Burnley eatery offers sandwiches, paninis and flatbreads with the choice of fries on the side, it is also a great Italian restaurant with plenty more options.
It has a five out of five rating review on Tripadvisor and the opening hours are between 9.30am and 5pm and 10am to 6pm on Sundays.
The Lounge at Crow Wood
The Lounge at Crow Wood, Royle Lane in Burnley, is a lovely eatery offering small plates, jacket potatoes, salads, sandwiches, classic meals and much more.
It has a rating of four and a half out of five and was also awarded a Travellers' Choice award in 2022.
Open between 7am and 10pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday 8am to 9pm.
Mooch Cafe87
Nearby in Padiham, Mooch Cafe87 offers a great variety of meals for all to enjoy.
The eatery offers sandwiches, pies, wraps, burgers and a large range of breakfast options.
It is open 9.30am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 9.30am to 3pm on Saturdays.
The Fat Giraffe
Also in Padiham, The Fat Giraffe at 3 Church Street offers breakfast classics, soups, sandwiches, salads and much more.
It is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
