A teenager has been arrested in relation to child abduction after he was stopped at a Lancashire train station.
The 19-year-old, of no fixed address is believed to have been on the run with a 16-year-old girl from Essex since February 7.
The pair were stopped at Lancaster by British Transport Police and the girl was returned home with the man recalled to prison.
A spokesperson for the BTP said: "A 19-year old male of no fixed abode was arrested on a train at Lancaster for child abduction.
"He had been on the run with a 16-year old girl from Essex since February 7, everywhere from Bournemouth to Edinburgh.
"We returned her home. He was recalled to prison."
