It has been a pub since 1862 in the heart of this village community
Is food served? Is so what’s on the menu?
We serve food from 10am with our very popular Royal breakfast using all locally sourced products, our kitchen team pride themselves on delivering freshly prepared locally sourced dishes. We have lots of themed nights and events, we even had a Bake off event recently

Yes we have outside seating for over 100

The building of our new extension housing our new commercial kitchen and new Bistro cafe bar during lockdown

Not at present
Have you faced any challenges within the industry
Most certainly during the aftermath of Covid, however we have a great team and all worked very hard
The best thing about running a pub is
Working together as a team and we see this as a big family, when we receive reviews and comments about our service this really makes us smile
The worst thing about running a pub is..
The current challenges we face daily due to the economic climate however we soldier on and our motto is “ the strong survive”
