Following news of the young girl's tragic death, a Go Fund Me page was set up by a friend of the Morris family to help ease some of the financial presssure on them and help pay for her funeral.
The page reads: "Alyssa was five days away from celebrating her 14th birthday.
"Alyssa was the most beautiful, funniest little girl who always, always had the most beautiful smile on her face.
"Although Alyssa had a very short life, she had a life full of love and happy times and I want more than anything for her family to be able to celebrate Alyssa’s life without the worry of funeral expenses at what is already an unimaginable, painful time for her family.
"No parent should ever have to experience this pain… any donation towards Alyssa’s celebration of life would be greatly appreciated."
The page has already amassed more than £3,500 at the time of writing, with many people leaving tributes and comments to Alyssa.
One person said: "Thinking about you all at this sad time. God bless."
While one person wrote: "This is so sad what beautiful girl. Condolences to you and her family."
