A popular cheese-inspired restaurant has temporarily closed its doors.
The Mouse Trap in Ramsbottom closed on Thursday (February 9) and will stay closed for a month until March 9.
The team have said the closure will allow them time to concentrate on a new menu, training and to spruce up the venue.
A statement reads: “We’ve got some big plans for 2023 and this includes a new menu so we’re taking some time give our gorgeous Mouse Trap some attention & focusing on menu development, training and general TLC.”
The popular platters will still be available however the restaurant is looking at adding a lunch menu, specials, a bigger wine list and more spirits for their cocktail menu.
Cheese lovers have been reminded that the business's sister company will be available for orders during the closure.
The statement continued: “During our closure, we will be super busy but we will still be here to accommodate all of your cheese needs, just head to our sister company The Cheese Emporium to get your cheese fix.”
The Mouse Trap holds ‘SAX’ nights each month which have proved popular with their customers.
During their closure, they are holding their event at Rawtenstall Market and say it will be ‘bigger and better than ever’.
