A bar and grill restaurant, which has only been open for seven months, has been toasting its success as it is handed a new food hygiene rating.
Freya's Grill, which opened in July last year, has been awarded a new five-out-of-five rating in its recent food hygiene inspection, and manager Naz Islam says the response he has recieved since opening has been great.
The bar and restaurant, in Duckworth Street, opposite Darwen Lidl, serves a range of meals, including kebabs, steak, cocktails and more.
It has now been rated five by hygiene inspectors, who rated all areas of the eatery 'good' specifically looking at the hygienic food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety.
Naz said: "Our customers feel more comfortable when they see a sticker with five, they do know the food hygiene and the standard are being maintained.
"In a way they can then eat comfortably in our restaurant and at the same time we are serving the public safely and everything is in place.
"We've been open seven months and the response has been really good, I can't complain, we have had continuous support and we have had customers from all over coming through and also on some weekends we are so fully booked, we don't have tables for customers.
"It has been really good since we opened.
"New customers can expect food that nowhere else in the area is serving, it is something totally different, they can't get the food anywhere else.
"As well as a five-out-of-five hygiene rating, customers are leaving nothing but five star reviews which is great.
"When you see the results it makes you chuffed."
Naz said he is really thankful to Blackburn with Darwen Council who have been supportive since he opened the venue.
He said: "We also want to thank Blackburn Council as well, they were very impressed with our paperwork and they were really impressed with how our kitchen is set up and how we have maintained everything.
"And now they have asked if we will take part in the Healthy Eating initiative because we cook on grills and use olive oil, so they asked if we would be interested in offering healthy meals."
