The earth shook on Friday night as an earthquake hit part of Lancashire.
The 1.5 magnitude earthquake is believed to have struck Blackpool on Friday evening (February 3), according to the British Geological Survey.

We have received online reports from residents in Blackpool, Little Plumpton, Weeton and Westby. Reports described, "a noise like a train coming near" and "the computer and cabinets shook".
The tremor, which was at a depth of two kilometres, hit the Lancashire town at 7.36pm.
The BGS said there had been reports describing “a noise like a train coming near” and “cabinets shaking” following the quake.
A spokesperson for the BGS said: "We have received online reports from residents in Blackpool, Little Plumpton, Weeton and Westby.
"Reports described, "a noise like a train coming near" and "the computer and cabinets shook"."
