A new ‘eco-friendly’ eyewear stall has opened in Preston selling a range of sustainable specs.
The EcoEyes stand is located opposite the Moka coffee shop in the Fishergate Centre and offers eco-friendly products sold in sustainable packaging.
The stall has been launched by Joseph Waqas and Fayaz Yousef.
Fayaz said: “We believe that sustainability and style should go hand in hand.
“Our frames are crafted from sustainable materials such as bamboo, wood, Bioacetate, and recycled plastic. Plus, all of our packaging is eco-friendly and biodegradable.
“This will help to reduce waste and make sure that our impact on the environment is as minimal as possible.”
Fayaz said the collections included a range of styles from classic, to trendy, modern styles.
He said: “We also want to make a positive impact on the environment and for that reason, for every purchase we make, we pledge to plant a tree in a conservation area of your choice.
"That way, we're not only reducing our environmental impact through our products, but also actively working to improve it.
“The stall will be holding a launch event Saturday February 11 and we are offering the first 5 customers a complimentary pair of sunglasses, and for the rest of the day, a complimentary pair of sunglasses for every frame purchased.”
