Burnley radio presenter Jordan North is set to publish after the success of his podcast Help I Sexted My Boss, which he co-hosts with William Hanson.
Jordan and etiquette expert William Hanson are set to publish their book, described as an “essential Help I Sexted My Boss handbook”, this autumn.
What do you do if you stumble across your dad on a dating app? How long do you wait before kicking your ex off your Netflix account?
In the book, the duo are set to solve our solve our 21st century dilemmas in this “witty guide” to avoiding awkward moments.
From dinner parties to picky teas, first dates to flat mate dramas, this book draws on William’s encyclopedic knowledge of manners and Jordan’s down to earth honesty to help navigate modern life.
Jordan, who was runner up in the 2020 series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, said: “I cannot believe I am writing my first ever book, and with my best mate!
“In the early days of the podcast we would often joke that one day we would have a book out. Like William, I too am super excited to be offering advice on modern day dilemmas to both our loyal listeners and new readers.
“We can guarantee that the Help I Sexted My Boss book will be in a similar vain to the podcast. Fun, silly, a bit rude and with plenty of passive aggressive comments from William.”
William said: “I am so excited to be giving our loyal listeners, and new readers, our hard backed offering this Christmas.
“To be able to take the advice we have been giving on our podcast since 2018 and expand and finesse it for this new manual for modern life is incredibly thrilling.
“I suspect my own contributions to our literary oeuvre will be full of highly sophisticated language, complex clauses and thought-provoking and applicable advice for modern life.
“Whereas Jordan’s parts won’t take up too much ink.”
Since its launch in 2018, Help I Sexted My Boss has climbed the UK comedy podcasts rankings, garnering more than 17 million listens. Currently it is ranked at number 10.
William and Jordan recently took the podcast on tour, selling out at some venues.
