A town centre road is set to reopen following a closure for emergency works.
Diversions have been place along a section of Richmond Terrace close to Blackburn Museum this week.
Drivers attempting to access Richmond Hill, via Richmond Terrace were diverted back on King William Street.
The work was being conducted by BT on the section was closed for the safety of engineers to work underground.
An alternative route for traffic affected by the closure was via Richmond Terrace, Exchange Street, King William Street and Sudell Cross.
A One-Network update says: “The prohibition of vehicular traffic will operate from February 1 and will be in place for five days, or until completion of the works if earlier.
"However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by February 3.”
