Thirteen drivers will be hearing from police after being caught speeding.
PCSO’s Pemberton and Ferguson from the Ribble Valley teamed up with the Community Roadwatch Volunteers following community concern about speeding.
Officers were checking drivers' speeds on Whalley Road, Wilpshire and Clitheroe Road, Sabden, yesterday (January 27).
Both roads have 30mph limits, with 13 drivers exceeding 35mph, with one driving at 56mph in Wilpshire.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We spent time in these locations and they have been highlighted by residents as areas of concern for speeding vehicles.
“All 13 drivers will be hearing from us in due course but one will be getting a special visit, wonder if you can guess which one.”
