This photo shows one of Blackburn’s many ‘lost’ industrial mill buildings.
Taken in 1968 it shows the offices of Ewood Mill which was off Bolton Road close to Ewood Park.
The mill gained a notoriety during the Acid House craze which brought revellers to Blackburn from all over the country in the late Eighties as it hosted several ‘unofficial’ Acid House parties.
Aldi now stands on part of the mill site.
