Snow has arrived in East Lancashire and people have been sharing pictures of the wintry landscape over the last 24 hours.
While some towns have only seen flurries of the white stuff others have been blanketed.
Fishmonger Karl’s Fresh Fish shared an image of their van in the snow at Colne Market.
A spokesperson said: “I am here, I made it through the snow.
“Oh it's a chilly one but I'm ready to serve you lovely lot.”
Stuart Myers shared a picture of his garden, in Barlick, with a sprinkling of snow.
Peter Judson and Natalie Metcalfe shared a picture of their snowy walk through Towneley Park in Burnley.
Peter said: “Great little walk today through Towneley Park. Had a great chat, with fresh air and we connected with the outdoors.”
KCARS taxi service, in Accrington, shared a picture of the snow and said it might affect customer waiting times this morning.
A spokesperson said: “Due to the weather our waiting time is 45 minutes at the moment, we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause you.”
Twitter user, Algernon Benedictine, shared an image of their winter garden scene in Pendle.
On Wednesday (January 18) said: “Winter garden scene early this morning.
“Could hear Mr, or Mrs blue-tit banging on the bird-box on the side of the house.
“Not sure if they were checking to see if the box was empty in readiness to hunker down in case of more snow.”
A yellow weather warning for snow and ice is in place until 12pm on Thursday (January 19).

This morning Twitter user, @DigChrisMyres, shared a snowy landscape shot with Pendle Hill in the distance.
They said: “Plenty of snow to be seen over Lancashire way .
“That’s Pendle Hill in the distance them with the sunrise lighting up its snow covered cap.”
It covers all parts of East Lancashire and most areas of wider Lancashire, excluding Blackpool.
The national weather services has also warned of possible snow flurries in parts of the north west and say the icy conditions could bring travel disruption.
Currently, no more snow is forecast for the county this week but temperatures are set to remail low until the weekend, when it is expected to be cloudy.
