If you are looking for a fresh start in a new home in 2023, you could be put off by the current property prices as the cost of living continues to increase.

However, there are still some houses on the market that, with some work, could make great homes – all without breaking the bank.

Here, we take a look at the cheapest houses available in three areas of East Lancashire according to RightMove.

One of two properties in Accrington for the same price, both currently the lowest on the market, this three bedroom semi-detached house is listed for £95,000.

The house is already in a good condition and would not require any extensive work – just tweaking it to your own tastes.

It boasts two reception rooms, a kitchen, a conservatory and a cloakroom/toilet on the ground floor, three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs plus a driveway and a large back garden.
