A council has launched an appeal for information after dead animals were dumped in the Ribble Valley.
Ribble Valley Council said dead sheep and lambs have been illegally dumped in Trapp Lane, Simonstone, and off the layby near Waddington Quarry, in recent weeks.
Anyone with information or footage of those responsible have been asked to contact Trading Standards.
A council spokesperson said: “There have been several dead sheep and store lambs illegally deposited on land on the layby on Trapp Lane Simonstone and off the layby adjacent to the cattle grid near Waddington Quarry over the course of the last few weeks.
“If anyone has any information on the person or persons responsible for this, including any dashcam footage of this activity, please can you report it to Trading Standards.”
