Police have issued a warning after closing several roads due to heavy flooding.
Police closed three roads in and around Chorley yesterday evening (December 27) after they flooded.
It is not yet know when the roads will reopen but police will issue an update when they are.
Officers also issued a warning to motorists, asking them to be careful while driving in wet weather.
The following roads are closed:
- Central Avenue to Exuton Lane
- Buckshaw Avenue to Bryning Way
- Central Avenue to Brookwood Way
A police spokesperson said: “Please be advised that due to heavy flooding we have closed Central Avenue to Exuton Lane, Buckshaw Avenue to Bryning Way and Central Avenue to Brookwood Way are all closed.
“Please be careful during this weather”.
