What a charming photo of times gone by!
It shows two little girls possibly walking home from school past the Black Bull Hotel at Rimington in the Ribble Valley.
We don’t have a date for the picture but looking at the cars and the way the girls are dressed it could be from the early Fifties or even late 1940s.
The Black Bull on Rimington Lane closed in 2009 before reopening as a French-style country inn but that too closed in 2013.
It’s a long shot but do any Looking Back readers recognise the two girls? Of can anyone tell us anything more about the photo? Email bygones@nqnw.co.uk if you can help or leave a comment
