It’s the last chance to take your children to meet Santa as The Mall Blackburn issues a final call out for the remaining weekday tickets.

Santa and his elves will be at the Christmas Toy Emporium at The Mall Blackburn until the end of next week, so it’s the last chance for children and families to meet them before they depart for the North Pole.

Weekend dates are all sold out, however children still have the chance to meet Santa during the week from Monday, December 19, to Friday, December 23, with the grotto open daily from 10am to 6.40pm.

Visitors will be greeted by the shopkeeper and nutcracker soldier, ready to welcome children into their festive world before leading them to meet the big man himself.

Loraine Jones, general manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “We can’t believe it’s coming up to the final week of The Christmas Toy Emporium!

"Santa’s Grotto is one of our most treasured events - we’ve been delighted to welcome lots of families back to The Mall this Christmas.

“With weekend dates now sold out, if you haven’t made it down we’re encouraging visitors to book to visit Santa in his final week at The Mall before he flies back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.”

The Christmas Toy Emporium, which is located in Victoria Court, next to Pandora, is packed with toys and characters and is where Santa compiles his naughty and nice list for children’s presents.

Children will embark on an entertaining journey through the magical emporium before entering into a special room which will decide who has been naughty or nice, as well as detecting the ‘true believers’ of Santa.

For £12.95, each child will have the opportunity to meet Santa, receive a gift as well as a novel keepsake certificate confirming their place on the nice list. There’s also opportunity for photos along the way.
