Dozens of tractors covered in fairy lights took to the Ribble Valley roads at the weekend as an annual charity tractor run returned.
The Clitheroe Christmas Tractor Run, organised by the Clitheroe Young Farmers Club (CYFC), took place on Sunday December 11.
More than 130 tractors, covered in festive decorations and lights, delighted more than 2,500 spectators in Clitheroe and the surrounding villages as they paraded through the streets.
A travelling DJ and a festive sleigh were just some of the vehicles in the convoy this year.
The aim of the event is to raise money for Cancer Research UK and CYFC.
A spokesperson for CYFC said they “on track” to raise £5,000 which will be split between the two charities.
They said: “On Sunday the Clitheroe Young Farmers Club held their annual Christmas Tractor Run raising money for Cancer Research UK and Clitheroe YFC.
“More than 130 tractors covered in festive decorations and lights travelled through the Ribble Valley, with over 2500 people watching the event.
“The convoy consisted of a moving DJ called Disco Jackers, a couple of ‘rein-Deere's’, a sleigh and many more.
“There were prizes awarded to the best dressed tractors. We are on track to raise over £5000 between the two charities.”
