A person has been taken to hospital after a crash on Mythop Road this morning.
The crash involved one vehicle and the fire service were called to the scene at around 8:30am this morning (December 10).
Three fire engines from Blackpool, Wesham and South Shore attended the crash on Mythop Road, Weeton.
Firefighters extricated on casualty using stabilisation struts, hand tools and Holmatro equipment. The person was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service and fire crews were in attendance for 45 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 08:36 on the 10th December 2022, three fire engines from Blackpool, Wesham and South Shore attended a road traffic collision on Mythop Road, Weeton.
“The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters extricated on casualty using stabilisation struts, hand tools and Holmatro equipment.
“The casualty was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for forty five minutes.”
