A person has been taken to hospital after being extricated from the vehicle following a crash on the M6.
The crash involved one vehicle and happened between junction 34 (Lancaster) and junction 35 (Carnforth) at around 8am this morning (Saturday, December 10).
Emergency services attended the scene and three fire engines from Bolton-le-Sands, Morecambe and Lancaster were called to the incident.
The incident involved one vehicle and firefighters extricated one casualty using stabilisation struts, blocks, wedges and a triple extension ladder.
The person was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for thirty minutes.
