A local charity has offered up a range of prizes to a Blackburn primary school as part of its World Cup sweepstake.

The IMO Charity has kindly donated a range of prizes including a football, nets and a trophy to Audley Junior School.

Community Development Lead at IMO, Faz Sidat, said: "It is a wonderful opportunity for IMO Charity to be supporting the pupils of Audley Juniors.

"The love of football is clearly visible and to be in a position where we can help to foster the interest, skills and physical ability of many is a privilege."

Athiq Ali, a teacher at Audley Junior School,  added: "We are extremely grateful for the generosity shown by IMO towards our pupils at Audley Junior School.

"They have provided a variety of prizes for the winners of our World Cup sweepstake as well as a pair of football nets which will be an extremely valuable resource for our children to participate in sports activities during PE and extra-curricular clubs."
