Two lanes on the M6 northbound have been closed following a crash involving four cars and a van.
The crash took place at around 8:35am today (December 5) on the M6 northbound carriageway from junction 31A Bluebell Way (Longridge) to junction 32 M55 (Broughton Interchange).
Luckily no the crash was 'damage only' so no one has been injured.
Lanes one and two (of five) have been closed.
There are ‘severe delays’ of up to 13 minutes with an average speed of ten mph.
Traffic updates website, INRIX states: “Crash, lanes closed, slow traffic
“Two lanes closed and slow traffic due to crash on M6 Northbound from J31A B6242 Bluebell Way (Longridge) to J32 M55 (Broughton Interchange). Lanes two (of five) are closed.
“Severe delays of 13 minutes and delays increasing on M6 Northbound between J31 A59 Preston New Road (Samlesbury) and J32 M55 (Broughton Interchange). Average speed ten mph.”
