East Lancashire Radio 1 presenter, Jordan North, says he received an odd message from a stranger who asked to buy a pair of his used socks.
The Burnley presenter opened up about the strange incident on his podcast Help I Sexted My Boss, which he co-hosts with William Hanson.
The stranger, called James, sent the former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here contestant a message on social media with the odd request.
This came after listening to a previous podcast in which Jordan spoke about having to remove his shoes and socks while viewing homes in Japan.
Jordan said: “Do you remember ages ago when I was looking at houses?
"I said I had to take my shoes and socks off because I was looking at houses in Japan.
“I got a direct message from a person called James a couple of days ago which said: ‘Jordan, I loved the podcast where you were talking about your socks and shoes post-wear when looking around for a house to buy.
“‘Please can I have a pair of your socks after heavy wear so I definitely know they have been worn'.
“So that’s how my week has been.”
Jordan then joked that he will be selling used and branded ‘Help I Sexted my Boss’ socks on the website.
It’s not the only mishap Jordan has endured this month.
On the same podcast he also talked about a "hotel room nightmare” he was involved in while visiting his family in Burnley.
Jordan added that incidents like this can “only happen to him” and it’s the second time he has walked into the wrong hotel room.
You can listen to Help I Sexted My Boss podcast episodes on Acast, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
