A team of Blackburn kickboxers were triumphant at a national tournament in Birmingham.
TMT Kickbox and Harwood Solicitors Fightclub competed in the International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA) Championships 2022 in Solihull in the Midlands.
The club had entered five fighters all of whom achieved places on the podium. Two of those, Dominik and Mikaeel Afzal, were crowned champions.
Head coach Tibor Toth Miklai is a former kickboxing world champion and also the England President for the worldwide WFC (World Fighting Championships) organisation.
He said: "I am really proud of all the efforts everyone put in and for some of them it was first time they had competed at this level.
"This is only a sign of things to come and we have huge plans for the future.
"We are aiming to set up further opportunities for children from across the borough. We want members to be part of our family based environment."
Classes at the club take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 6.15pm and 7.15pm (adults) and 7.15pm to 8.30pm (children) at the Freckleton Business Centre in Blackburn town centre.
