An 'inspirational' children’s care home manager has been honoured with a national award.

Brendan Prior, manager of Fairfield in Rawtenstall, a ROC Northwest children’s care home, was named ‘Care Home Registered Manager of the Year’ at the Great British Care Awards 2022.

Brendan, who was appointed Registered Manager at Fairfield in October 2021, picked up his award at a ceremony at the Kimpton Clocktower hotel in Manchester.

He manages a team providing therapeutic care and education for boys with learning, emotional, social and behavioural needs, and was nominated by his peers for this award.
