A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on the main road between Preston and Longridge.
Police has closed Preston Road in Grimsargh after a crash between a motorbike and a van at around 2:35pm today (November 22). The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital.
The road, close to Village Hall, will remain closed as officers investigate.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We were called at around 2:35pm to reports of a serious injury collision between a motorbike and a van.
“The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital. Thankfully his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”
INRIX traffic updates website states: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash on B6243 Preston Road both ways between The Plough and Elston Lane. Road has been closed since around 15:35. Happened near the Village Hall.”
