A man who was pulled over just after buying a car did not have a licence or insurance.
Police pulled over the driver of the Mazda in Clifton Drive North in St Annes as the driver looked much younger than the person insured to be behind the wheel of the car.
The young driver told officers he had just bought the vehicle for £700 but had not yet got insurance or passed his driving test.
The driver has been reported and the car has been seized.
A spokesperson for the police said: “The driver of this Mazda looked significantly younger than the insured party.
"Vehicle stopped on Clifton Drive North by HO51.
“The driver had just bought the vehicle for £700 however he has yet to pass a driving test or get insurance.”
