A rare photograph showing the new Huncoat Power Station which was almost complete and ready for use taken in June 1952.
The power station would generate electricity for the National Grid for 32 years before it closed for good and was then demolished in stages between 1988 and 1990.
Did you used to work at the power station? Have you any photos of life there? We'd love to share them with Looking Back readers. Email photos and any memories you may have to bygones@nqnw.co.uk or leave a comment.
