A man drove off without paying for £55 of fuel from a Rossendale petrol station.
Damon Bell, 36, filled up a car at Shell garage on Bacup Road, Waterfoot on September 24 with £55.05 worth of fuel and left without paying.
Bell, of Lincoln Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to making off without payment at Burnley Crown Court earlier this week.
He was sentenced to a conditional discharge of nine months by Judge Sara Dodd.
