A man who drove through Chorley and Adlington at speeds of up to 77mph, failing to stop for police, has been jailed.
Neil Fox, 44, from Gidlow Street, Hindley in Wigan was charged with dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, failing to provide a breath sample and failing to stop.
At around 9.30pm on Monday, September 5, officers from the Tactical Operations Unit spotted the Black Volkswagen Golf driving dangerously on the A6 in Chorley.
After failing to stop for officers, the car drove through the streets of Adlington over twice the speed limit, eventually colliding with a keep left barrier and coming to a stop.
Police have released footage of the speeding driver being stopped after the pursuit.
Last week, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison for dangerous driving, four months for disqualified driving and has been disqualified from driving for a further two and a half years.
