An investigation is currently under way after a house fire broke out in the early hours of the morning.
Three fire engines from Lancaster, Bolton-le-Sands and Carnforth were called to a fire on Upphall Lane in Priest Hutton at around 3am this morning (Saturday, November 12).
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a ventilation fan and lighting to battle the blaze.
Crews were at the scene for around an hour, but the cause of the fire is still unknown.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Three fire engines from Lancaster, Bolton-le-Sands and Carnforth fire stations were called to a house fire on Upphall Lane in Priest Hutton.
“Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a positive pressure ventilation fan and lighting to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
