The owner of a local fashion boutique in Ramsbottom is hosting a ‘Sip and Shop’ late night Christmas event this month.

Mollie Butterworth, 25, opened Pretty Parade Boutique in Ramsbottom four months ago after the success of her boutique in Littleborough.

As the shop is still new to the community, Mollie decided to host the Christmas event to celebrate their new customers and get in the Christmas spirit.

The event is an opportunity for customers who work late so may not have had the chance to visit the shop yet, to come down for a spot of late-night shopping.

Customers will be able to treat themselves to some prosecco and indulging in festive treats whilst shopping for loved ones.

Mollie said: “I’m passionate about promoting shopping locally and independently so want to invite ladies in the community to come along and have a relaxed and fun night.

“I’ve always loved Ramsbottom because it has such a nice mixture of shops and restaurants so have always wanted to have my second shop here.”

The business owner launched Pretty Parade when she was 19 after being inspired by the independent boutiques she saw when she went travelling in Australia.

When she came back to the UK in 2017, Mollie launched an online business before opening up her first shop in Littleborough.

Now Mollie wants to share exclusive brands and products with Ramsbottom. She added: “We offer gift boxes which have been doing really well in our other shop, so we’re excited to showcase that with the customers here.

“We keep our lines nice and different so there’s also fresh to look at. But we really focus on finding the perfect brand, we don’t just stock anything and just follow the trends.

“We focus on styles that are easy to wear, that aren’t the crop tops or backless, they’re just timeless items that make you feel good. We’ve also got accessories like hairbands and handbags so you can get gifts for others.”

Mollie’s mum Caroline Butterworth and her sister Emma Zyla work at the shops so “it’s a really family-orientated and comfortable business.”

She added: “We do Facebook lives every week where people can see the stock and also meet me and the team so they feel comfortable when they come in.

“I also ensure that we’re an affordable shop so we’re not excluding a lot of our customer base but still good quality.”

Pretty Parade Boutique is located in Bolton Street, Ramsbottom, and the Sip and Shop event will be held at the shop from 5pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, November 17.

Mollie added: “It’s the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping and he perfect evening to get the girls together and have fun.”
