Police have praised the “power of social media” after a stolen Land Rover Discovery was returned to its owners.
The vehicle was stolen from an address in Waddington on Saturday October 29.
Police asked anyone with CCTV or information to help with their enquiries.
Social media and an “eagle-eyed” member of the public have been thanked for helping the police track down the car.
Enquiries are still ongoing to identify the offenders.
A police spokesperson said: “Thanks to the power of social media and an eagle-eyed member of the public, big thank you to that person, the stolen Land Rover Discovery posted about last week was recovered this week and returned to a grateful owner.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offenders.”
