Blackburn Rovers WAG Olivia Attwood is said to be the highest-earning contestant on this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
A new study has found that Olivia, who is engaged to Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack, is set to earn the most amount of money per sponsored social media post, earning up to £5,626 per sponsored post.
Research conducted by AskGamblers.com examined the social media profiles of every contestant of the new series of the show, as well as influencer marketing calculators to establish which star is the most influential on social media and how much they can earn per sponsored post.
The research revealed that Olivia Attwood is the highest-earning contestant from the new series line-up.
The former Love Island contestant has an Instagram following of almost two million, the highest follower count of all the contestants, which allows her to earn up to £5,626 per sponsored Instagram post.
Since the star rose to fame on Love Island, Olivia has partnered with brands such as I Saw It First and In The Style, consequently enhancing her influential social media presence.
Boy George is revealed as the second highest-earning contestant on the ITV show.
The Culture Club singer has the second-highest Instagram following of 634,000, allowing him to earn a potential of £2,731 per sponsored post.
Chris Moyles can earn up to £1,833 per sponsored post, making him the third-highest-earning star of the new series.
The DJ has 370,000 Instagram followers, the third highest of the cast.
MP and former Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, who announced his participation in the show on Tuesday, is the eighth most influential contestant.
Due to a follower count of 78,700 on Instagram and an engagement rate of 0.6 per cent, Matt Hancock could earn £449 per sponsored post.
A spokesperson for AskGamblers.com said: “With the 2022 series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! just around the corner, this research dives into the earnings of celebrities to reveal how much they can earn outside of our screens.
"Millions of viewers will tune in every day to watch the hit ITV series, suggesting that the contestants can expect to gain an even higher follower count across social media, which will in turn increase opportunities and influence for the star’s outside of the jungle season.
“These findings also offer a fascinating insight into which celebrity may be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle if these follower counts translate into votes.”

Olivia, who first shot to fame in the 2017 Love Island series, says her biggest phobia is the dark and is keen to avoid these types of challenges.
She said: “When I first got the call to take part, I didn’t really believe it!
“It felt surreal because taking part in the jungle is the absolute pinnacle. It’s the crème de la crème of all shows and obviously, I didn’t have to think about it. I said yes immediately.
“I think people think I am high maintenance and I will struggle without make-up and nails but I am not that bothered and I think that might surprise people. I am happy to muck in.”
While she is excited to take part she doesn’t think she will win because she thinks people will view her as ‘marmite’.
She does however think she could be in with a chance of winning the title of this year’s contestant who screams a lot during the gruelling challenges.
She said: “Of course, it would be incredible but I don’t think I am ever going to win I’m A Celebrity.
“I feel like I am marmite - you either love me or hate me.”
