A new Pizza Hut has opened in a Lancashire town.

The American chain has opened a branch in Towngate, Leyland, and it will be open for delivery and takeaway orders.

There is also a small eating area where some customers can enjoy their meals.

The store opened at the site of a former Ladbrokes betting shop.

Currently, it is the only Pizza Hut restaurant in Leyland after the previous site closed in 2006.

The new branch is thought to have created 21 new jobs for the area.

Pepperoni, chicken supreme, spicy Margherita and veggie sizzler are just some of the pizza options available at the branch.

Chicken strips, chicken wings, Dorito cheesy nachos and cheesy garlic bread are also some of the sides on offer.

For dessert, Cadbury cookie dough and cookies are some of the options available.

A Pizza Hut Spokesperson said: “We’re excited to have opened a new Pizza Hut Fast Casual Delivery Hut in Towngate, Leyland, as we grow our Delivery brand in the UK.
