Delays of up to three hours are expected after a crash on the M6 near Preston this morning.
The crash happened on the northbound carriageway between junction 31 and junction 31A earlier this morning (Friday, October 28).
The congestion is by the M6 northbound junction 31 and has built all the way back to junction 29 (Preston).
It is estimated that normal traffic conditions will return by 8.45am but drivers are warned it could be even longer.
There are currently delays of 20 minutes against traffic and the delay length could be up to 15 minutes to three hours.
A spokesperson for Traffic Delays UK said: “Normal traffic conditions are expected between 8.30am and 08.45am on 28 October 2022.”
