Two arrests have been made after a man was taken to hospital in a serious condition following a stabbing.
Lancashire Police officers were called to Church Brow, Walton-le-Dale, on Tuesday, October 25, at about 9.45pm.
When they arrived, officers discovered a man in his 30s suffering from serious injuries, including a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition, police confirmed.
A 46-year-old man was arrested a short time later after also attending hospital with injuries. He too remains in hospital.
Following a public appeal, a 37-year-old man from Preston has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody.
Enquiries into the assault are ongoing and anybody with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting log 1276 of October 25.
