A Sky broadband outage is affecting parts of Lancashire and other areas in the north west.
The outage is thought to be mainly impacting Sky customers in Preston, with outages reported across Darwen and Burnley too.
It is not currently known when services will resume.
A Sky spokesperson tweeted: “There is currently a multiple exchange outage in Lancashire affecting broadband, talk and fibre customers.
“We are sorry for any inconveniences caused by this outage.”
According to Down Detector, an online platform that provides users with real-time information about the status of various websites and services, outages have been reported in Preston with some commenters saying they are having issues in Darwen.
According to Is The Service Down? UK there are also reports of outages in Burnley, specifically in the BB9 and BB11 postcode areas
Wider parts of the north west, including Manchester, Bolton, Wigan and Salford, are also said to be impacted.
A woman from Preston said: “It’s definitely down here. Has been all morning.”
Another said: “Our internet went down at 1am.
“Still out now and your webpage insists that nothing is wrong.”
“We’re all trying to work from home here what’s going on?” said another.
Another said: “Lancashire? It's the whole of the North West.”
It’s not the only technological problem to be reported today.
Earlier this morning, there were reports of WhatsApp not working.

Service Down UK have had several reports this morning that the cross platform mobile messaging app has been having problems since 4.40am.
Sky has been approached for comment.
