Two lanes on the M6 northbound were closed due to a crash involving three cars.
Delays of 25 minutes remain in the area between junction 28 and junction 19.
The incident took place on the northbound carriage way at 7:30am today (October 20).
Two of four lanes were closed on the M6 near Cheshire and Knutsford.
The incident has cleared and all the lanes have re-opened.

Delays of 25 minutes remain with four miles of slow-moving traffic but National Highways: North West say this should start to now ease.
A spokesperson for the National Highways said: “This incident has now cleared, and all lanes have re-opened on the M6 northbound in Cheshire between J18 (HolmesChapel) and J19 (Knutsford).”
